^Lot 421a La Coruna Mauser 8mm SN: B3788

Sporterized Spanish made military Mauser 98 made in 1945 at La Coruna arsenal. The receiver and bottom metal/floor plate have matching numbers but the bolt is mismatched. Metal finish has areas of wear through the bluing as well as high point edge wear. Extractor has turned to plum color. Bore has good rifling with frosty grooves. No import mark. Action works well. The refinished and cut-down wood stock has sling swivels and a static sling loop as well as a Pachmayr "White Line" recoil pad. Condition is fair. *Modern Firearm C&R*
